The BluVib Wired-to-Wireless (WtW) brings the environmental robustness of a wired sensor to the BluVib family. An ultra-low-power acquisition module connects to wired low-power accelerometers, measuring two channels of vibration plus a speed input, and transmits over Bluetooth 5 — combining wired performance at the asset with the easy installation and long battery life of a wireless solution.

Overview

2 vibration channels

Connects to wired low-power piezo accelerometers, ±20 g range (dependent on accelerometer choice).

Tachometer input

A single speed channel (optocoupled TTL / analogue to ±25 V).

Long battery life

Field-replaceable battery in the acquisition module, up to 5 years depending on measurement intervals.

Flexible mounting

Bolt/screw locations either side of the case, an underside DIN-mount assembly, or a DIN-rail fixing.
The module mounts via bolt/screw locations on either side of the case, an underside DIN-mount assembly, or a DIN-rail fixing. A power-on switch and antenna sit on the top face of the enclosure. Accelerometers connect by wire and mount onto or near the machine via a ¼-28 UNF thread. Typical applications are condition monitoring of rotating machinery — motors, fans, pumps and gearboxes — and it is well suited to submersible pumps, enclosed compressors and difficult-access measurement points.
